The following are environment props for Light of Alariya an open-world, third-person, exploration puzzle game in which you traverse the ancient alien temples and ruins to restore the power of the stars and awaken your sleeping civilization. Light of Alariya was developed in Unreal Engine 5 and released on Steam. The world was divided into 3 sections, I was responsible for concepting the feel and look of the black sand area of the world. This area being surrounded by the remains of the whales that used to live here was an idea that stuck from early development. I created two versions one with more realistic textures and a stylized textured one used the final version of the game. Due to this being the first game we created in Unreal Engine 5 I was told that the polycount would be fine in what it ended up being.
